Not at all. Many clients start with a single room, zone or priority such as security, and then expand the system over time as budget allows.

Will everything still work if the internet goes down?

Where possible we design systems so that core lighting, heating and security continue to function locally even during an internet outage.

Smart home projects frequently build on solid networking and WiFi and may include CCTV & security for complete peace of mind.
